ASCOLTI || POSTHUMAN - Sessions One on Future Music (2011)


 
Rich Bevan e Joshu Doherty aka Posthuman sono cugini e, anche se un po' in sordina, hanno contribuito notevolmente all'evolversi della musica elettronica di qualità degli ultimi 10 anni. Genitori di Seed Records e Balkan Vinyl hanno esordito nel '99 su Skam. Da quell'anno hanno continuato a produrre e ad esibirsi live in tutto il mondo, muovendosi contemporaneamente anche a livello organizzativo. A loro il merito di numerose serate organizzate tra il 2001 e il 2004 in una ex-stazione abbandonata della metropolitana di Londra con ospiti del calibro di Plaid, Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert...

Un gran mix eseguito per la web-radio Future Music rilasciato circa un mesetto fa. In realtà ne esiste un secondo uscito più di recente ma ho scelto questo per la varietà e per il contenuto un po' più Acid e ... che nomi (tracklist-copia-incolla dal sito ufficiale, scusate...)!!!!!!!

Franki (aka DJ 3000 of Underground Resistance) played at our I Love Acid clubnight back in 2009 and absolutely rocked it. This track is taken from his new album.
Kirk Degiorgio – Machine Theme
Resident and curator at Machine, one of the clubnights we promote. This track is set for release on a new label of the same name later in 2011. Gorgeous melodic techno.
Echaskech – How To Fly
Also from our label Balkan Vinyl, this is from ‘Green’ in the colours series. Echaskech are good friends of ours, we’ve traded remixes and gigged together numerous times.
John Tejada – Unstable Condition
Number one in our May DJ charts, out now on Kompakt, this is an absolute anthem.
